Biography

Dr. Behafarid Ghalandari is currently an assistant professor of the Department of Medical Nanotechnology and Applied Biophotonic Research Center, Science and Research Branch, Islamic Azad University, Tehran, Iran. He obtained his B.S. from the University of Guilan (Iran) in 2008, M.S. and Ph.D. from Science and Research Branch, Islamic Azad University (Iran) in 2010 and 2015, respectively. Dr Ghalandari’s research interests include physics of biological macromolecules especially proteins, physics of protein folding/unfolding, interaction of biological macromolecules especially proteins with various ligands, kinetics of activation and inactivation of enzymes affect ligand binding, design and production of biopolymer nanoparticles especially protein nanoparticles, design and production of agent (drug/nutrition) delivery system in nanoscale using biopolymers especially carrier proteins and computational biology.

Research Interest
