Biography
Dr. Chidi Nweneka is a Paediatrician, Epidemiologist, Clinical Scientist, Advocacy Expert, and Strategist with research interests in HIV, reproductive health and malaria. He also has a PhD degree in Child Health and Human Nutrition from the University Of Glasgow, UK. Chidi is currently the Deputy Director, Policy and Strategy Department, and head of the Strategy and Planning Division of the National Agency for The Control of AIDS, Nigeria. Prior to this, he was the Deputy Director Public Health Programs and Policy (and the PEPFAR Lead) for the US Department of Defense Walter Reed Program, Nigeria. Dr Nweneka has served on the Boards of several national and international organizations including the Boards of the Adventist Health Services in Nigeria and the Adventist Development and Relief Agency, The Gambia.
