Biography

Cormier Jonathan is currently working as a Associate Professor at ISAE-ENSMA, teaching Creep, Fatigue, Resistance of Materials, Design projects, Experimental Analysis of Stress and Strain Fields, Finite Element Modeling. Fully detached at CNRS (French National Center for Scientific Research) in 2012 and 2013.

Research Interest

Cormier Jonathan having reserach interest in the field of High temperature deformation and durability of superalloys (cast DS and SX alloys, wrought alloys) under fatigue, creep and TMF solicitations,Durability of high temperature coatings (TBC & diffusions coatings),Constitutive modeling of Ni-based superalloys behavior and durability, Close-to-reality thermomechanical loading paths of high temperature materials using burner rigs, Influence of microstructure on the fatigue crack initiation, Solid-state transformations, Processing – Mechanical properties relationships (LMC solidification for SX, Forging and ring rolling of disk alloys, laser surface patterning to improve TBC adherence), Plasma nitriding to improve wear and fatigue resistance of superalloys and Austenitic stainless steels, Ablation resistance of various high temperature composite materials.
