Dimitrios Themelidis is a medical doctor who graduated from Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace - Northern Greece- in 2003. He became a PhD in Microbiology from the Department of Microbiology, Medical School of Democritus University. His research areas include microbiology, antimicrobial resistance, immunology and molecular microbiology. He has participated in several conferences which are related with microbiology and the resistance mechanisms of bacteria. He is working as a doctor at the Laboratory of Microbiology of General Hospital of Evros (Thrace, Northern Greece).
