Biography
Julien S Baker is a Professor and Director of the Research Institute for Clinical Exercise and Health Science at the University of the West of Scotland USA. Professor Julien Baker has investigated the mechanical and pharmacological aspects of strength and power. This work has identified serious errors in the measurement of power using the Monark cycle ergometer and is emphasising the need for a new and more accurate approach to this challenge. Professor Baker is a member of the Physiological societies of Britain and USA.
