Currently, he is working as Postdoctoral Fellow in St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as research scientist in governmental and industrial settings.
Dr. Lekh Nath Gautam has received his PhD in Chemistry from West Virginia University during the period of 2008-2013. Currently, he is working as Postdoctoral Fellow in St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as research scientist in governmental and industrial settings. His research has included multi-step organic synthesis and drug design & discovery process for pediatric cancers, process chemistry and analytical chemistry. His previous research has been published in the field of Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC), NH-Piperidines, ring fused N-heterocycles, Triazole-gold (TA-Au) catalysis, Multicomponent Lewis base catalysis for isoxazoline-N-Oxides and (+)-Clausenamide. Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as John Trotter and STEM scholarship, John Conard and APO fellowship etc. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals & expert Reviewers for journals like Chem. Comm., Org. Proc. Res. Dev., Tetrahedron, Drug Des. Dev. Ther., Monatshefte fur chemie, med. Chem., Lett. Drug Des. Dis., Mini-Rev. Med. Chem. and text book of Med. Chem. He has authored more than fourteen research articles/manual. He is a member of ACS, AAAS, AACR, NYAS and NPA
