Researcher and academic teacher in Department of Organic Chemistry on the Faculty of Pharmacy in Medical University of Lublin
Dr Lukasz Popiolek has received his PhD degree from Medical University of Lublin (Poland) in 2010. Currently, he is working as Researcher and academic teacher in Department of Organic Chemistry on the Faculty of Pharmacy in Medical University of Lublin. His areas of research mainly include solution or solid-phase synthesis, spectral identification, biological activity evaluation and structure-activity relationship (SAR) studies of new sulfur, oxygen and nitrogen containing heterocyclic compounds. He is serving as an editorial board member and an expert reviewer in several reputed organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry and pharmaceutical science journals. He has authored or co-authored 25 research articles, 3 review articles and over 50 national and international conference proceedings. He is a member of the Polish Chemical Society and the Polish Pharmaceutical Society.
