Biography

Maria-Ana GEORGESCU is Professor at the Faculty of Economic, Law and Administrative Sciences, of “Petru Maior” University in Tîrgu Mures, Romania being the Head of the Long Distance Department at the same university. She graduated the faculty of Philosophy at Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca and has a PhD in Sociology at the same university. Also she had a Master degree in Management of International Relations and European Affairs, at “Petru Maior” University, Tg. Mures. Her interests cover aspects regarding interdisciplinary fields – Socioeconomics, Social Responsibility, Ethical dimension of business activities and public administration, Entrepreneurial education, Social management. She has published a number of books as: Education and social mobility, Basic aspects of microeconomics, Sociology, Socioeconomics challenges, Entrepreneurship and Business ethics, Ethics between theory and action, Social Responsibility Between Theory, Image and Conduct.
