Dr. Martha Isabel Torres Morán was born in Mexico and studied at Universidad de Guadalajara and applied for a scholarship in Italy. He have two specialties in greenhouse production of horticulture and floriculture crops. He has an experience in ornamental crop production and molecular characterization of plants, and teaching genetics. He obtained the Ph. D. at Instituto Politecnico Nacional, Mexico. He is currently working as researcher and professor at Universidad de Guadalajara, México.
