Pinar Kuru, MD graduated from Marmara University School of Medicine in 2014. Her aim is to understand the pathophysiological mechanisms that lead to chronic diseases and to develop therapeutics. She designed, assisted and involved in several research projects in the departments of Neuropharmacology, Clinical Neurophysiology, Neurogenetics, Physiology, Cardiology, Thoracic Surgery, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and these experiences allowed her to gain a broad understanding of medicine. She authored more than 15 publications, 25 abstracts in scientific congress proceedings and book chapters. Currently, she is the editorial board member and reviewer of many prestigious journals.
