Anemia in pregnancy constitutes a major public health problem in developing countries and a high morbidity and morbidity among antenatal mothers. The Hb thresholds used to define anemia in this study was based on WHO definition. Anemia is refer to the Hb concentration of less than 11 g/dL and non-anemia is refer to Hb concentration of 11 g/dL or more. Respondents who followed the haematinics prescription by health staffs were considered as good haematinics compliance.
