This study was conducted between October 1996 and April 1998 to investigated growth, mortality and stock size of pikeperch Sander lucioperca (L., 1758) population of Karacaören I Dam Lake. The age composition of pikeperch population was ranged from between 0-VIII, 0 and I age group were formed majority of population. The forked length and total weight of pikeperch samples varied from 12.7-61.3 cm and 20-2756 g respectively. Von Bertalanffy growth equations were found as L∞=91.17 cm, W∞ =8031.8 g, K= 0.0852, to=-2.704 and b=3.1441. The average condition factory was found as 0,896. The total mortality, survival ratio and exploitation rate were determined as Z=0.47y-1, 62.5%, 53% respectively. Mean number and biomas, bigger than 22 cm length, in population have been estimated as 430846 fish and 163441 kg. With the simulations of fishing mortality rates for each length group, it was determined that maximum sustainable yield (MSY) could be obtained with 20 % reduction of the present effort.
