The purpose of this survey was to investigate the relationship of job satisfaction with responsibility of high school teachers working in educational zone 4 of Tabriz. The methodology used here is descriptive correlating study with functional purpose. The statistical population of this survey consisted of 607 teachers teaching in this educational zone. Stratified random sampling is used for gathering data. For appraising Job Satisfaction variables Job Description Inventory (JDI) and for appraising Responsibility variables 42 questions taken from California Psychological Inventory (CPI) were used. The validity of tools in content and was approved by professors and experts. The reliability of Job Satisfaction and Responsibility questionnaires by using Cronbach's alpha test in turn was calculated %829 and %658. The results showed that there was a positive and meaningful relation between Job Satisfaction and Responsibility (sig=0.001, r=0.250) .The level of Job Satisfaction of male and female teachers was different (sig= 0.001, r=2.115) and Job Satisfaction of female teachers was higher than male teachers. There was no meaningful difference between Responsibility of male and female teachers (sig=0.445, t=0.765) and the results showed that teachers had a good Job Satisfaction and Responsibility
