In order to determine of nutritive value of Alhagi using in situ and gas production techniques, this study was carried out. In this study two fistulated wetheres (35±1.8 kg) were used in in situ method. The gas production was measured at 2,4,6,8,12,16,24,36, 48, 72 and 96 h and ruminal DM and CP disappearances were measured 0,2,4,6,8,12,16,24,36,48,72 and 96 h. Dry matter degradabilities of Alhagi at 96h was 54.33% and Crude protein degradabilities of Alhagi at same time was 49.01%. metabolizable protein of Alhagi was 94.88 g/d. The gas production of Alhagi at 96h achieved 205.50 ml/g. Alhagi can used largly as a ruminant feeds.
