Alcoholic lung diseases
Alcoholic lung diseases are caused due to excessive alcohol consumption. It can be increasing world widely. It effects normal function of lung diseases and leads to injury. It lowers the immunity in the lungs that leads to Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome and it may causes pneumonia.
Although alcohol abuse has been known for centuries to increase the risk for lung infection (i.e., pneumonia), it only recently has been recognized that alcohol abuse also increases the risk of alcoholic lung diseases like acute lung injury following major trauma, such as a serious motor vehicle accident, gunshot, or other event requiring hospitalization, or the spread of bacteria attributed to infection (i.e., sepsis)
