Body Mass Index

Body Mass Index (BMI) is a person's weight in kilograms divided by the square of height in meters. BMI is an inexpensive and easy-to-perform method of screening for weight category, for example underweight, normal or healthy weight, overweight, and obesity.

Body Mass Index measurement of the relative percentages of fat and muscle mass in the human body, in which weight in kilograms is divided by height in meters squared and the result used as an index of obesity.
