Cellular communication is the interaction between the living cells. Cell communication is done by sending and receiving signals. Signals can be withdrawn from any source which is further transmitted across the cell membrane in order to initiate a response.
Sometimes signals can itself be transmitted across the membrane while sometimes in need receptors proteins that are present outside the cell surface.
