Fifth disease is a viral illness caused by parvovirus B19 that occurs common in children between the age of 5-15. It produces red rash on the skin it is also refered to slapped cheek syndrome . Fifth diseases start with the low fever ,head ache ,cold like symptoms ,rash on the face .The rash spread on the face it slowly extend over the nose, mouth throughout the body.Fifth disease,or erythema ,is a mildly to moderately contagious viral infection common school agre children particularly in the winter and spring.Though it can resemble other childhood rashes ,such as rubella or scarlet fever,fifth disease usually begins with distinctive ,sudden appearance of bright red cheeeks that looks  as though trhe child has been slapped .The disease is rare in infants and adults  and it is usually mild.Fifth disease is spread by respiratory droplets that enter the air when an infected person coughs or sneezes,or through blood.
