The Association of Spinal Cord Injury Psychologists in United States specializes in the arrangement of psychosocial services to meet the cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioural care benefits of persons affected by spinal cord damage or its impairment. Association members have the opportunity to work collaboratively with many of the expert professional’s research finding who are specializing in spinal cord injury or dysfunction in the spinal and neurons, developing their own techniques through active participation in the Academy research findings. It also mainly involving in Organizing and operating for scientific and educational, we provide the highest quality educational and training opportunities in SCI. It also develops the use of empirically-based psychosocial interventions; develop research and scientific inquiry into improving the quality of life for persons affected by SCI standards. It is also based on spinal cord psychologists association; and it also recognizes credentialed health care researchers devoted to treating the psychosocial problems of SCI/D. The main motto of mission of psychologists and social workers is to advance, foster, encourage, promote and improve psychosocial care of persons with SCI, and also to develop, advance and improve education and research related to the psychosocial care of persons with SCI.
