The American Association of Veterinary Immunologists is dedicated to the improvement, advancement and dissemination of learning in veterinary immunology. This includes immunology livestock and poultry, pets, fish and marine mammals. The Aavi was formed in 1979 by a group of veterinary immunologists gathered at the annual conference of workers in research on animal diseases (CRWAD). The Aavi is for all veterinary immunologists internationally. Aavi holds the annual scientific meeting and activity in collaboration with CRWAD each year and an annual symposium in collaboration with the American Association of Immunologists (AAI). The American Association of Immunologists (AAI) is a strong supporter of Aavi and provides financial support for the price distinguished veterinary immunologist and Aavi / AAI postgraduate scholarships.

Wildlife Study also includes immunology of domestic animals and poultry, creatures, fish and marine creatures evolved. A global platform is required for veterinary immunologist to discuss recent progress in animal immunology. Many annual meetings of the World Veterinary science are held to help coordinate activities with various associations around the world, the objectives identified with veterinary immunology and immunopathology. Veterinary immunology, clinical immunology deals with topics that relate to animal species to the advancement of science education and help its people to outreach science exercises. These include courses on Immunology and related subjects. Veterinary workshops and seminars are organized in the United States and the United Kingdom each year to raise awareness of immunology and vaccine studies on animals.
