The assignment of this division is to promote the change of facts among instructional and business researchers regarding technology utilizing existence-based systems to provide useful services and products.

BIOT department individuals are ACS individuals who have joined the department and paid its annual dues. Department affiliates are non-ACS individuals who've a specific interest within the targets of the department and feature paid the corresponding dues. Associates are entitled to all the privileges of club inside the department, save those of voting or preserving optional function.

Awards: ACS BIOT gives out awards honoring its participants every 12 months at the Spring ACS meeting. These awards are chosen based at the packages received every year.
