The American dental association (ADA) is established on August 3, 1859 which has more than 155,000 members and said to be as an American professional association. It is oldest and the world's largest national dental association and promotes to the public a good oral health while representing the dental profession (ADA). The ADA publishes a bi-monthly journal of dental related articles named the journal of the American dental association. The association is having headquarters more than 400 employees at Chicago and its office in Washington, D.C. same as having the associations such as the Paffenbarger Research Center (PRC), which is located on the campus of the national institute of standards and technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg, Maryland, an agency of the American dental association foundation (ADAF). The ADA founded rigorous guidelines for testing and advertising of dental products, and the first ADA seal of acceptance was awarded in 1931. Today, about 350 manufacturers participate in the voluntary program and more than 1300 products have received the seal of acceptance. The organizational structure having an administrative body of the association of president, two vice presidents, board of trustees - 17 trustees from each district in us, ex officio members – treasurer, executive director, house of delegates, five federal dental services, an American student dental association. The official publication of association's is the journal, the American dental association. Other publications include the ADA guide and the ADA news to dental therapeutics. The ADA foundation is the charitable arm of the association. The Foundation provides grants for education, dental research, scholarships, access to care and charitable assistance programs such as relief grants to dentists and their dependents that are unable to support themselves due to injury, a medical condition or an advanced age; and grants to the victims of disasters. The recent annual session American dental assistants association in conjunction (2014), dental assistants in attendance at the henry b.
