The American Sleep Association is a national organization which improves and aware the public about sleep disorders and sleep health. ASA was founded by sleep professionals as a member-driven public awareness effort.  This Association helped a lot in educating more than millions of people on the importance of sleep health and the recognition of sleep disorders by applying different sources. This Society have primary mission to improve public health by awaking the people about the importance of having sleep as well as hazards of sleep disorders. It promotes the advantages of sleep health through research and education and includes every member of the community whether physician, scientist, allied health care, patient, etc. and they believe that with the help of them, they can make a positive impact in this effort. This Association circulates the newsletter which includes the remedies and recent achievement obtained by the researchers. Annual social marketing and public relations effort created by association for fun and engaging online and community events in order aware the public about their health impact of sleep loss, it try to connect the sleep disorders and problems with other health conditions which raises funds for medical research, advocacy efforts and to change sleep habits for the benefit of the individual as well as their family and this leads to whole society. Researchers as well as health care professional are creating a community of members of the public, effected people with common chronic as well as with rare health conditions Different seminars, meetings as well as workshop are arrange in order to aware the people about the health condition and their consequences caused due to less sleep.
