Army Air Forces Historical Association

The Army Air Forces Historical Association comprises of volunteers from all kinds of different backgrounds who share a typical interest - a yearning to safeguard this, a player in our flying legacy. For some the interest originates from relatives who served. For veteran individuals who flew, kept an eye on or kept up the popular plane, contender and transport flying machine, it is an opportunity to impart their recollections to a more youthful era. Affiliation individuals wearing unique flight rigging and garbs of the time, are not re-enactors, but rather living students of history who movingly clarify and re-tell the stories of the frightening encounters of the World War II veterans. The war years of the 1940's thought on a unique significance generally lost in history books or movies. Veterans of this association are: We Must Always Remember, Regard and Honor, The Veterans of World War II and more. A progressing unique task finds and records Veterans' Oral Histories so that a credible and nitty gritty record of their encounters, and time regarded penances, are saved for successors. AAFHA's Oral History Project now incorporates 41 Veteran's Histories. We are as of now making 18 of these accessible to the general population for a gift of $25 each.
