The vision of building up a general public in Asia for Asians began the distance back in the mid 1991 when there were a difference displays the level of restorative consideration in a few nations. The Asian Society of Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery (ASHBPS) was formally started in Bangkok with Professor Tadahiro Takada as the primary President. After its eighth Congress in Manila, the ASHBPS was moved to another Organization A-PHPBA in 2005. The inaugural meeting of the A-PHPBA in Fukuoka, Japan was shut toward the end of March 2007, and HPB specialists found another home in Asia-Pacific.
The Asian-Pacific Hepato-Pancreato-Billiary Association was established with the perspective to letting Asian-Pacific HPB experts assemble to share their encounters and thoughts, and cultivating common comprehension. This territorial affiliation gathering with the American AHPBA and the European EHPBA under the umbrella of the IHPBA.
