Asian Society of Cardiovascular Imaging -ASCI-

The ASCI was established on Sep 8, 2006 according to the decision of the delegate meeting at the Asia Pacific Cardiac MR and CT Workshop. The 1st Congress of Asian Society of Cardiovascular Imaging occurred in 2007 at Asan Medical Center, Seoul, Korea with 545 participants from 26 countries.

The Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of cardiovascular imaging in Asia.

It is seen as the principal independent organization dedicated to the further development of cardiovascular imaging through education, research, quality control, and training in Asia.

The objectives of the Society-

To bring together radiologists, cardiologists and individuals of related fields to improve the understanding, research and teaching of cardiovascular imaging in Asia
To provide scientific meetings, research, preliminary works and ideas, for the dissemination of knowledge
To provide education through refresher courses, and disseminate knowledge through publications of the Society
