association for applied psychophysiology and biofeedback

With a mission to advance the development, disseminating & utilizing of knowledge about applied psychophysiology & biofeedback, the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback (AAPB) was founded in 1969 as the Biofeedback Research Society. It is a non-profit organization which missions on improvement of health & quality of life through research, education & practice. AAPB has more than 2000 members representing the fields of psychology, medicine, nursing, social work, counselling, physical therapy, education and other health care areas. Through the efforts of the AAPB, alternative medicine almost equal traditional medicine in all aspects. The objectives of AABP includes encouragement of scientific research & expanding clinical & educational applications of biofeedback & applied psychophysiology .It also focuses on mixing of biofeedback with other self-governing methods. AABP is also promoting the new understanding of biofeedback & methods used in this practice. They are also spreading the knowledge through its events, publications, and educational programs.
