The European Automobile Manufacturers Association (French: Association des Constructeurs Européens d'Automobiles ; abbreviated ACEA) is the main promote and standards group of the automobile industry in the European Cumulation. The sodality was established in July 1988. It is the successor of the CCMC manufacturers committee in february 1991, which was founded in October 1972. Its members include: Ford Europe, Hyundai Europe Renault ,BMW, DAF, Iveco, Jaguar Land Rover, Opel Group, PSA Peugeot Citroën, Daimler AG, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles,Toyota Europe, Volkswagen Group, Volvo Cars and Volvo Group. The ACEA is studying electric conveyance charging stations and expects that Type 2 Mode 3 connectors withal to be utilized for home charging in the second phase after 2017 while that are already available in home environments as it still sanctioning Mode 2 charging with established plug types There is no coalesced sodality of manufacturers which sell in the European Amalgamation (independently of the European, Asian or American inchoation).
