Bentwaters Aviation Society

The Bentwaters Aviation Society (BAS) was framed in 2002 by a gathering of lovers wishing to keep alive the memory and record the history and legacy of both the Royal Air Force and United States Air Force movement at RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge. Individuals from the Society likewise control and work the bowed waters Cold War Museum, which opened to the general population on Sunday 27th May 2007.Aims: The essential point of the Society is to save the historical backdrop of the 'Twin bases' of RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge, including more than 40 years of inhabitance at the bases complete history of all exercises at both landing strips, and this will at last be shown in the Bentwaters Cold War Museum.
