The BCRA is a speleological association in the United Kingdom. Its motivation is to animate the investigation of caverns and related wonders, and it makes this by supporting hollow and karst research, empowering unique investigation (both in the UK and on undertakings abroad), gathering and distributed speleological data, keeping up a library and sorting out instructive and experimental meetings and gatherings. BCRA is a recorded philanthropy in the UK, and a principal body of the British Caving Association (BCA), undertaking beneficent exercises for the benefit of BCA.
The BCRA has acquitted in 1973 of the BSA and the Cave Research Group of Great Britain (CRG). Whenever, later, the National Caving Association (NCA) was done, BCRA got to be one of its constituent bodies.
