British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA)

 British Small Animal Veterinary Association BSAVA is to endorse excellence in small animal training through science and education. BSAVA was established in 1957 as a specialized organisation to serve veterinary physicians who use to treat companion animals. Now it has over 7,600 members in BSAVA. The group of our associates work in practice, and it signify over a third of veterinary surgeons in UK.  BSAVA associates are made up of veterinary societies from all over the globe, which are concerned with companion animals. Now BSAVA are 97 associate and recognised associations, who represent over 168,000 different veterinarians from around the world. BSAVA first resolution is to provide the quality and convenience for small animal medicine and surgery, generating a united standard of care for the benefit of small animals and humankind. Having a part of BSAVA we creates a space in which we can help everyone and to create a international voice of veterinary profession internationally. BSAVA organised its first meeting in March 1957 and by the end of 1977 organisation of 18 countries had joined which represents 7,900 small animal veterinarians internationally. Now BSAVA have 97 members organisation, representing 159,000 veterinarian’s world-wide.
