It was soon understood that the general public must have a head quarter working to be utilized as focal office. A PC-1 for the same was set up in 2002 for an aggregate expense of Rs. 2.824 millions to be at the premises of the Department of Chemistry, Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad. An endorsement of the same was conceivable in 2003 and, after a great deal of interview; establishment stone laying function was hung on ninth of March 2006 by Prof. Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman. It's name has been authored as the "Nation Coordination Center in Chemical Sciences" (CCCCS) which will work under the authoritative control of the Chairman Department of Chemistry Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad and to be utilized by the Chemical Society of Pakistan as its focal office.
