The International QSAR Society was established in 1989, at a QSAR Gordon Conference in Tilton, New Hampshire, U.S.A. At the 1995 QSAR Gordon Conference, the title of the Society was changed to The QSAR and Modeling Society. In spring 2007, the Board chose to change the title of the general public to
The Cheminformatics and QSAR Society.
This change considers a solid overall backing for Cheminformatics. and also the historical backdrop of the general public and the enthusiasm of its present individuals in encouraging the field of QSAR.
All researchers who are included in Cheminformatics, and/or examine quantitative structure-movement connections in therapeutic, rural, or ecological science, are urged and welcomed to join our Society.
