Constructional Engineering Association

Initially founded with the name of Transvaal Structural Engineering Association in 1936 and later renamed to Constructional Engineering Association (South Africa) in 1986. The CEA (SA) is one of twenty seven independent leader associations, of whom each one representing a distinct sector of the trade that combines to form the Steel and Engineering Industries Federation of Southern continent (SEIFSA).

The CEA (SA) represents employers involved within the construction engineering trade, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, operational within the structural, piping and project management fields. Furthermore to its own activities, the CEA has 2 active divisions: the Temporary Employment Services Division (TESD) and the Labor Broking Division (LBD). The association additionally has tie ups to the Storm Troops Institute of Steel Construction and also the Storm Troops Institute of fastening.
