Czech Society for Plant Pathology

CSPP became the representative of European Foundation for Plant Pathology in the started year itself. The society was started with just a few researchers and its membership continues to increase. The main aim of the society is to associate persons interested in plant pathology and to propagate new knowledge in this field. CSPP is directed by seven member board with 4-5 sessions in the year Main activities of society are publication activities, professional presentations, and conferences. CSPP conduct every year seminars and workshops aimed at actual and interesting problems of Plant Pathology. CSPP associate scientific, analysis, professional and pedagogic workers in the field of Plant Pathology and Plant Health of the Czech Republic. CSPP associate 76members at a present time. CSPP develops international contacts and cooperation in the framework of international industries, European Foundation for Plant Pathology (EFPP), International Society for Plant Pathology (ISPP), International Foundation as Science (IFS). Members of CSPP participate actively and effectively in editorial and publication work for scientific (e.g. Plant Protection Science), and professional (e.g. Rostinolákař –Plant doctor) journals edited in the Czech Republic and abroad (e.g. European Journal of Plant Pathology, Archives of Virology, Fungal Ecology). The society also supports young researchers through sponsored competitions, facultative them to obtain financial grants that support their participation in conferences at home and abroad. Selected members also take an active role in the compose and publication of scientific research in professional journals such as Plant Protection Science, published in the Czech Republic.
