Entomological Society of Ontario

The Entomological Society of Ontario is the oldest entomological society in Canada founded by 3 naturalists and it was established for all students and entomology lovers and it served as an society of persons interested in the science of entomology. The society members mostly focus on entomological interests like physiology, taxonomy, ecology and pest management. Majority of the society members are professional entomologists who share their interests and expertise. The original headquarters of the society was in Toronto and later it moved to London. Currently, the society’s headquarters has been located at the Ontario Agricultural College in Guelph and the library and archives are currently housed in the library at the University of Guelph. The society publishes the Journal of the Entomological Society of Ontario.
