European Association for Research on Plant Breeding

EUCARPIA means to advance experimental and specialized co-operation in the field of plant rearing keeping in mind the end goal to encourage its further improvement. To accomplish this reason, the Association orchestrates and supports gatherings to examine general or particular issues from all fields of plant reproducing and hereditary examination. Exercises with an overwhelmingly business interest are rejected, as EUCARPIA is a non-benefit association.

EUCARPIA composes area and working gathering gatherings all through Europe every year. Amid these gatherings committed to specific harvests or cross-cutting themes, particular a la mode learning and philosophy are traded among driving researchers and passed on to reasonable plant reproducers.

At regular intervals, the General Congress is held together with the general gathering. These congresses are an open door for all EUCARPIA individuals to talk about subjects of a more extensive interest. They give a gathering to presentation of the issues and difficulties which plant rearing confronts today and later on. The following congress happens 28 August to 2 September 2016 in Zurich, Switzerland.

Established 1956 and formally situated in Wageningen (The Netherlands), EUCARPIA gives extensive effect on enhancing universal contacts in plant reproducing research for almost 60 years.
