The Society for Animal Cell Technology in Europe is a Society which brings together scientists, engineers and other specialists working with animal cells development in order to boost the intercommunication of experiences between European and International investigators and progress the research development of cell systems and technology and productions derived from them. The society is administered by an elected committee and has several beginnings to other Societies and Organisations. The Animal Cell Technology organised with research aspects in scientists and engineers in academic, medical and industrial and also academic scientists R&D and Production in varied applied science institutions and different academic areas, in the medical services, in industry, and in the regulatory bodies. It is also actively encourages interactions between academia, governmental and policy making decisions and the manufacturing and service industries. Animal Cell Technology society provides an overview of the field, from the more basic phenomenon to the final application. It should be of interest to those starting their research activity in the field, both from academia or companies, and also to those wishing an update research development in the Animal Cell technology in a short Course.  It also made research in presenting this activity as one more effect to the community involved in the use of animal cells in Biotechnology and Biomedicine.
