The main aim of SFH is to promote and encourage research in the field of haematology by connecting different individuals and groups with an interest in haematology. The SHF association is headquatered in Paris, France. The society is heading under the presidentship of Gérard SOCIE. The association called "French Society of Hematology" was established in 1931 and its articles are registered with Article 18 of Title IV of the Statutes of 1931.The SFH organizes scientific workshops, meetings and conferences to favour research by providing grants young researchers. The SHF comprised of three boards: The Administrative Board, The Hospital, University and Professional Board (CHUP) and The Scientific Board. Administrative Board includes: Assure adherence to the statutes, Oversee publications and Develop propositions regarding the society’s future orientation. Hospital, University and Professional Board (CHUP) includes: Work to improve the conditions at all levels including clinics, hospitals, laboratories, and universities, and Modifications in the curriculum. Scientific Board: Responsible for maintaining the scientific programme of the society’s annual congress, and Provide scholarships and grants.
