French Society of Hypertension

French Society of Hypertension was established in 1966. The International Society of Hypertension (ISH) encourages and promotes the advancement in scientific research and its application in the prevention and management of heart disease and related cardiovascular diseases. In December 2007, The Society was registered as a charity society in England and Wales. The ISH is working for the elimination of hypertension worldwide by supporting research, education, advancement of knowledge and promoting awareness. The ISH will attempt to achieve this humanitarian mission through scientific meetings, collaborations, publications, and other activities that Raise awareness of the importance of treatment of high blood pressure in general public, Support and facilitate the networking between researchers, teachers, students and clinicians interested in hypertension or related diseases globally, Promote multidisciplinary collaborative research, Develop a guidelines on hypertension prevention and treatment, Serve and unite communities, Provide education and training worldwide and Reduce the impact of hypertension and its associated conditions.
In the year 2016, The ISH is going to organize: HYPERTENSION SEOUL 2016 (26th Scientific Meeting of the ISH) (Sept 24-29, 2016 in COEX, Seoul, Korea), The 39th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Japanese Society of Hypertension (Sept 30 – Oct 2, 2016 in Sendai International Center, Japan), XIV Congress of the Latin American Society of Hypertension and III Congress of the Central American and Caribbean Society of Hypertension and Cardiovascular Prevention (Oct 19-21, 2016 in Guatemala City, Guatemala), 6th annual Canadian Hypertension Congress (CHC) (Oct 19-22, 2016 in Montreal, Canada), World Health Summit (Oct 9-11, 2016 in Berlin, Germany) and 36es JHTA (Journées de L'Hypertension Artérielle). The 10th International Meeting of the French Society of Hypertension (Dec 15-16, 2016 in Paris, France). In the coming years, the ISH is going to organize many scientific events: 9th International DIP Symposium on Diabetes, Hypertension, Metabolic Syndrome and Pregnancy (March 8-12, 2017 in Barcelona, Spain), The 40th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Japanese Society of Hypertension Oct 20-27, 2017 in Ehime University, Japan) and ISH 2018 Scientific Meeting (Oct 10-15, 2018 in Beijing, China).
