The International Association for Statistical Education (IASE) meanings as the international umbrella association for statistics education. It seeks in the direction of improve statistics training at all levels from elementary (primary) school concluded to the training of professionals, and to increase the endorsement of statistics education world-wide. IASE fosters international cooperation, and inspires discussion and research. It circulates ideas, strategies, research findings, materials and statistics using publications, international conferences, and increasingly. IASE has approximately 400 members, 20% of whom belong to ISI as well. The membership is much differentiated internationally The IASE website and publications were accommodated for 10 years (until 2012) by the Department of Statistics at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and succeeded by Chris Wild and his team. IASE is grateful for this dedicated service. The Newsletter of the International Study Group for Research going on Ignorance Probability and Statistics (1987-1999). The name of the Association shall be the International Association for Statistical Education (IASE), hereinafter called the Association. The Association shall be a Section of the International Statistical Institute hereinafter called the ISI, in accordance with Article 8a of the ISI Bills and paragraph 205 of the ISI By-laws. The intentions of the Association shall be to promote the appreciative and advancement of statistical education and interconnected subjects and on the way to foster the development of nominal and efficient educational services complete international contacts among individuals and organisations, including statistical educationalists and educational institutions. Organize meetings, seminars, conferences &related activities individually or in collaboration with other organisations; support or benefactor the periodical of periodicals, pamphlets, records, information circulars, newsletters etc. independently or in mutual aid with other organisations; undertake or participate in co-operative activities, make professional transactions and take all other necessary action for the advancement of the objectives of the Association.
