International Association of Environmental Mutagen was established in Asilomar, California amid the First International Conference on Environmental Mutagens (ICEM) in 1973. IAEMS is a worldwide association of local or national Environmental Mutagen Societies (EMS). The essential goal of the Association is to give the methods whereby global contacts and collaboration might be advanced among those occupied with all parts of ecological mutagenesis research, both fundamental and connected.
