International Pediatric Association

The International Pediatric Sodality (IPA) was made in Paris in 1910 by a social event of European pediatricians who gathered for the First International Congress of Pediatrics in 1912. Consistently, the IPA has progressed into a non-managerial relationship with a support of 144 National Pediatric Societies from 139 countries, 10 Regional Pediatric Societies addressing all scopes of the world, and 13 International Pediatric Specialty Societies including the International Pediatric Chairs Sodality and the World Federation of Sodalities of Pediatric Surgeons.
