International Society For Stem Cell Research

In the year 2002 International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR) was established. It is an independent, non-profit organization founded to promote and encourage the exchange and dissemination of info and ideas concerning to stem cells, to foster  the research involving stem cells and to promote experts.  ISSCR is the distinguished international, cross-disciplinary science-based association dedicated to stem cell research with 4,100 members joined from more than 60 countries. The Society endorses global collaboration among the world’s most talented and committed stem cell scientists, physicians.  It plays a vital role in the advancement of effective new medical treatments. It brings together investigators associated with both fundamental and applied research.  ISSCR represents academic world and industry on a wide range of issues that affect the well-being of patients. It attempts to educate the public and government regulators on the basic principles of stem cell science and realistic potential for new medical possibilities.
