The International Society for Transgenic Technologies (ISTT) was established in Spain (European Union), in January 2006, and is represented by another lawful Non -profit Entity, ISTT, Inc., enlisted in the State of New York (USA) in May 2013. What follows is a short description of events that preceded the registration and formal establishment of ISTT Society and various significant developments that happened a while later.
The Society as of now has more than 650 individuals and tries to encourage correspondence and innovation sharing, to upgrade logical exploration, to propel the field of creature transgenesis, especially as it applies to helpful trial models in science, solution and biotechnology, and to speak to the interests of researchers, experts, and graduate understudies working in the field of transgenic advancements.
