Korean Dental Association

Korean Dental Association(KDA) was established as a formal legal organization in 1952 to provide the oral health and quality of dental services in public coming to the dental professional medical personnel, and has been striving dental health care system maintenance, improved dental technology and so on. In particular, in the pyramidal network dentists, hospitals, corporate secretary and the right to health problems threatening the national health care delivery system to break down the dentistry they were the first to experience the dangers and seriousness have tried to stop. The purpose of this Dental Association was to meet and get to know more Korean Dentists in America, and commit to the professional advancement by helping each other. Continue to Dental Association will continue to commit with the people and make 'medical youngrihwa' issues that adversely affect public health and health care can shake the foundation of the Republic of Korea as the top priority. In addition, for the dahamyeo Dental Association as a medical mission to the marginalized neighborhoods in health care difficult circumstances to become a 'dentist together with the people' in samgo motto, it will lead to the Noblesse oblige practice. For Dental Association to meet the changing times in the past without the reassurance and promise to do our best to promote a health care environment that can win both the public and the dentists. Korean Dental Association, which started with less than 30 dentists, now has about 800 members in Southern California, and 2000 members nationwide. Korean Dental Association changed its name to Korean American Dental Association. As the years passed by, Korean Dental Association became more organized and more committed to the society for the public’s oral health.The United States acknowledged Degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery obtained from Korea. However, dentists from other countries had to take certain board examinations to be able to practice in the U.S.
