Latvian Society of Medical Genetics

Latvian Association of Human Genetics is an organization which practice human genetics in a very professional way regardless of the nationality, religion or political convention in territory of Latvia. The society is into the development of human genetics in Latvia. The main area of the activity includes development of educational certification program for experts in medical genetics and certification of the specialists according to legal regulations and qualification of professional improvement programs within the organization for association members, by the association or in collaboration with other private organizations in Latvia or other countries. They also recommend on specialist or society education in human genetics.
