Mineralogical Society of Poland is a member of the International Mineralogical Association. The Mineralogical Society of Poland was established in April 17, 1969. This Society joined in the European Mineralogical Union from 1973 to 1999 .
The representatives of this society are IMA members of several delegations.

According to the statute “MSP” it is lining the development of mineralogical sciences and generates them in the Polish society”.
• Headquarters of the Society is in Cracow at the AGH University of Science and Technology. There are branches of the MSP in Warsaw, WrocÅaw, Sosnowiec and Kielce."
