Mineralogical Society of Poland is a member of the International Mineralogical Association. The Mineralogical Society of Poland was established in April 17, 1969. This Society joined in the European Mineralogical Union from 1973 to 1999 .
The representatives of this society are IMA members of several delegations.
“Mineralogia Polonica” and “Mineralogical Society of Poland – Special Papers” are two English journals published by the Mineralogical Society of Poland
• Reviewed papers on the latest achievements in mineralogy, petrology and geochemistry in Poland and in other places published by the “Mineralogia”.
• Reviewed abstracts, texts of posters and oral presentations presented during conferences organized by this society published by the “Mineralogia ”
According to the statute “MSP” it is lining the development of mineralogical sciences and generates them in the Polish society”.
