National Neurotrauma Society was established in 1982.The National Neurotrauma Society seeks to accelerate analysis which will offer answers for clinicians and ultimately improve the treatments accessible to patients. The National Neurotrauma Society can still promote excellence within the field by providing opportunities for scientists, establishing standards in each basic and clinical analysis, encouraging and supporting analysis, and promoting liaisons with different organizations that influence the care and cure of neurotrauma victims. Since its beginning in 1982, the NNS conference has served because the premier forum for the exchange of concepts and data associated with TBI and medulla spinal is injury (SCI).With its concentrate on integration clinical, change of location and basic science on neurotrauma-related analysis, combined with the meeting location in Lexington, Ky., the horse capital of the planet, this year's theme was: “The Triple Crown: Advances in Basic Sciences, Pre-Clinical Modeling and Clinical Approaches."The meeting was co-hosted by NNS and therefore the American Association of Neurological Surgeons/Congress of Neurological Surgeons (AANS/CNS) Joint Section on Neurotrauma and Critical Care. This mix of experience allowed for shows that integrate progressive clinical, change of location and basic science data on the results of injury to the nervous system. The forum consisted of informative discovery, change of location and clinical sessions and workshops, in addition as programs for college students and early-career investigators. Comprehensive sessions, workshops, and poster sessions were conducted to concentrate on topics of current analysis and observe problems. Public lectures, patient perspective shows, and networking opportunities rounded out the program.
