The North American Society of Head and Neck Pathology (NASHNP) was established in 1997 as a non-benefit association to advance, trade and disperse data about the life systems, physiology, pathology and fundamental science and clinical administration of illnesses including the head and neck. The NASHNP is a partner society of the United States and Canada Academy of Pathology (USCAP). Dr. E. Leon Barnes, the Founding President of the North American Society of Head and Neck Pathology, got the Fred Waldorf Stewart Award given by the Department of Pathology at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center on November 16, 2012 in New York.
